Working Principle Of Water Filter Element

The working principle of water filter element mainly includes three main steps: filtration, backwashing and water discharge.

Filtration process: The water to be filtered enters the water filter through the water inlet. When the water flows through the filter element, the pores on the surface of the filter element will capture impurities, suspended matter, sediments, organic matter and microorganisms in the water. The pore size of the filter element is usually between 0.2 microns and 1 micron, which can effectively remove most impurities and bacteria in the water.

Backwashing process: In order to keep the filter element clean and filter efficiently, the filter element needs to be backwashed regularly. Backwashing is to flush the filter element with reverse water flow to wash away impurities adhering to the surface of the filter element and keep the filter element clean. During the backwashing process, water flows through the reverse flow of the filter element to wash away impurities from the surface of the filter element to ensure the filtering effect of the filter element.

Water discharge process: The clean water after filtration and backwashing flows out through the outlet. At this time, the water quality has been significantly improved and meets the drinking water standard.
