Water deionization (di) filters are used to remove dissolved ions, such as salts, from the water to achieve high-purity water. They work by exchanging ions in the water with hydrogen and hydroxide ions stored in the filter's resin. This process effectively removes the dissolved ions, leaving behind pure water.
