PFAS removal filter is composed of a high-purity strong base anion resin combined with special activated carbon that shows an unusually high preference for multiple PFAS compounds.It is selective for a wide variety of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances including: PFOS, PFOA, PFDA, PFNA, PFHpA and PFHxS.
Types of PFAS Filtration
RO water filters
RO filter is the industry standard for in-house filtering.
Activated carbon filters: An activated carbon water purification machine is the second-best choice to install, similarly to a RO filter- under the sink. The most researched method of PFAS elimination is treatment with activated carbon.
Ion exchange water purifier
Resins or anion exchange therapy are further treatment options. Ion exchange resins are composed of a highly porous, polymeric substance that is insoluble in acids, bases, and water. UV water purifier
