Maintenance Of PP Filters

‌Maintenance of PP filters mainly includes the following aspects:

‌Regular inspection‌: Check the filter for leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, wrinkles, wrapping or blockage every day, and ensure that the filter housing, end cover, sealing ring and other parts are intact. The inlet and outlet pressure difference should be measured by professional testing equipment every week. When the pressure difference exceeds 1.5 times the initial value, the filter element must be stopped immediately for cleaning or replacement.

‌Cleaning and maintenance‌: When cleaning the filter, choose a suitable cleaning method and cleaning agent to avoid using cleaning agents that may corrode PP materials. For dirt that is difficult to clean, a mild chemical soaking method can be used, but it must be rinsed clean afterwards. After cleaning, an inspection should be carried out to ensure the cleaning effect of the filter.

‌Filter element replacement‌: The replacement cycle of the filter element should be dynamically adjusted according to the working conditions. Under normal conditions, the filter element is replaced every 3-6 months; under high-load conditions, the replacement cycle should be shortened to 1-2 months. When the flow rate drops by 30% or the pressure difference reaches 0.2MPa, the filter element must be replaced immediately.

‌Pressure and temperature control‌: During use, the pressure and temperature should be strictly controlled. Excessive pressure will damage the filter element, and excessive temperature will reduce the filtration accuracy and may cause material deformation. Therefore, it is necessary to operate strictly in accordance with the temperature range specified in the product manual, and stably control the working pressure to prevent sudden changes in pressure.

‌Lubrication and maintenance‌: All moving parts should be regularly filled with lubricating grease that meets ISO standards, especially key parts such as bearings and transmission devices. It is recommended to replenish lubricants every 500 hours of operation and perform comprehensive lubrication system maintenance during seasonal shutdowns.

‌Environmental control‌: Keep the working environment within a suitable temperature and humidity range to avoid short-circuit failures caused by dust accumulation. In dusty working conditions, the inspection cycle of electrical components should be shortened.

‌Intelligent maintenance‌: If conditions permit, pressure sensors and cloud platform monitoring systems can be installed to track the pressure difference curve in real time, automatically trigger the warning threshold, optimize the filter element replacement strategy, and reduce the frequency of on-site inspections.
